Almost three years ago to the day, we introduced you to our new site that hopefully became your daily stop for all things meme- and Internet-related. Nearly a year ago, I contributed my first post -- my mom rapping classic hip-hop songs if you're keeping track -- and today marks the last post (for me, at least.)

For my last vid, I wanted to combine earnest sentimentality with ridiculous absurdity, two traits that have served the site well since launching in April 2008. It's been scientifically proven that playing Boyz II Men's "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye to Yesterday" over ANY slo-mo video induces cheap empathy, and I am nothing if not a whore for cheap empathy.

With that, I created the video below that looks back on all the big memes since we launched the site, starting with the shiba inu puppies and ending with... well, if you don't know what we end with, you need to brush up on your memes. Thanks for watching. Now if you'll excuse us, we have a keyboard and a cat to set up.

There are a lot of cooking shows out there but very few a have child host. And why is that? Is it because of some ageist stigma in the kitchen? Actually, it's because the kitchen can be a very dangerous place for kids, what with sharp knives, whirling appliances, blistering hot ovens and all.

Of course, all that hasn't deterred Little Tommy... err, Tommy Little, who insists that 'even though the chef is Little, the flavor is HUGE!" Tommy dices, chops and slices his way dangerously through his favorite recipe in a series of hilarious cuts that... well, we won't spoil it for you but be prepared to wince. To all you little chefs out there, let this be a cautionary tale - wait 'till you can reach the blender before starting that culinary career, even if your pizza is delicioso!

Baby deer, that door isn't for you, but you come on in whenever you want because you are just too cute to turn away!

If you can believe it, this little baby deer has decided to squeeze through a tiny door made for cats and wanders into a house made for people and pets of a smaller, more domesticated nature.

If this cute little deer happened to wander into my house I would struggle with not keeping him forever and showering him with baby deer luxuries. None of that watching out for cars and running away from vicious hunters for him.

Of course, I would have to talk myself out of this idea; they are wild animals after all. But the dream lives on in this video of my perfect world, a world where man and deer can set aside their differences and coexist peacefully.

Living in Ikea would be a lot like living at home, except the furniture is already built so there's none of those tiny wrenches and missing screw stuff to deal with. That's the theme behind Christian Gideon's latest set of photos, "What if you lived at Ikea?"

Gideon, his brother Dylan and their buddy Michael hung out in the pre-created living space at their local Ikea, waiting for staff and customers to roll on through, picking up their Ekby Gruven and other easy-to-build furniture along the way, and snapping shots of the living situations there-in. And because you're wondering, they thought the bedrooms were the most true-to-life of every area they frollicked.

The average person comes across 200 infographics a day. Just kidding - that's not a real statistic, but the point is that these bite-sized nuggets of pretty knowledge are everywhere. Whether discussing the history of rickrolling or just trying to figure out itself (how meta!) you can pretty much find an infographic on every website. It's pretty exhausting.

So, we were thrilled to find Colombian photographer Jose Duarte's real-life infographics, a portfolio of photos of in-real-life items documenting internet stats. Not only are these photos button cute but they're actually filled with some great info. There are 32 million internet users in China, you say? Lady Gaga trumps President Obama, Newsweek and Al Gore in Twitter followers? Well, huh. The more you know.

Okay, guys, brace yourselves: it's Monday. That means we drag ourselves from the cozy warmth of our cocoon-like beds and proceed through the special torture that is putting on pants, drinking disgusting coffee and sitting in traffic for hours just to be confronted with days worth of "urgent" emails.

But there is one thing to be happy about this Monday and that's Shiba Inu puppy cam. After all, who cares about all those emails, the impending meetings, or the four (four!) days left of this agony as long as there is a squirming pile of adorable one-week-old wrinkly puppies to stare at in real time. Go ahead, pretend you're studying that expense report and take a peek. The cuteness is almost too good to be true.

First, Weird Al posted his new Lady Gaga parody, and now Insane Ian -- a geeky gamer answer to Weird Al -- has put out a new Mario-themed video. Ian's song 'Bob-Omb' is a Nintendo-fied spoof of Bruno Mars' 'Grenade,' starring Ian as Mario.

You may remember Ian's video budget woes from our post about his Kickstarter campaign. Well, good news: the Grand Theft Audio album and videos are now fully funded! The 'Bob-Omb' vid was filmed with zero budget, and I think you'll agree it's quite an impressive play on Bruno Mars' vid.

This years Rube Goldberg competition asked college students take the simple task of watering a flower. Not only did a team from Purdue University beat out all the competition this year with this complex device, but they also crushed the previous world record by over 244 steps!

The machine also tells the story about the history of the world starting with the big bang and ending with the still looming apocalypse. My hat is off to the winning team for such a creative contraption. Watering a flower has never been this complicated.

Cats don't need exercise. They're perfect just the way they are. But for some reason these little guys can't help but be totally enthralled with the treadmill. And it makes sense if you think about it. While we might be all motivated, going for the run of our life, getting healthy, getting in shape and buff, to a cat the treadmill is a totally foreign contraption. Humans, on a moving walkway inside the house, huffing and puffing and fighting to walk in place.

So seeing it from Snowball and Pepper's perspectives, it makes complete sense that they would stare and poke and prod with their little furry mittenesque hands. They're simply looking out for our well being.

While fishing with some co-workers at a local lake in Kansas City, Olivia Riley reeled in the biggest goldfish I have ever seen! This thing could eat your pet goldfish in one bite and still have room for seconds. How did a goldfish wind up in a lake?

In a interview with the local news Olivia suspected that the once regular sized gold fish may have been flushed and somehow made it to a better place, or more likely was let go by a previous owner and the goldfish managed to survive.
