Today's Cry - Videos, Photos and Other Crap That Makes Us Mushy

The editors of Urlesque are known for many things -- one that we can publicly divulge is that we wear our hearts on our sleeves (when we wear sleeves). Not a day goes by that we don't happen upon a sappy video, photo of a cute animal or an e-mail forward from Kelly's aunt that makes us well up.

Flip through the below gallery and witness the many reasons the cleaning lady has taken to call us the "wee cry babies up on 4th floor."

Cry of the Day

Click through the things that make the editors of Urlesque.com cry like the little babies they are.

A young kid tells a story about how he gets the crap beaten out of him and he sings anyway and it's beautifully edited ... and then we cry. Watch the video.

A bridal party and guests turn the occasion into an all-out musical theater spectacle honoring the bride. Watch the video.

    metacafe.com

Footage of an Alaskan moose and her twins frolicking in a sprinkler that somehow bypasses adorable on the way to becoming a total tearjerker. Watch the video.

A little boy sings James Blunts' song 'Beautiful' right to your face and turns you into a human puddle. Watch the video.

Two men return a lion to Africa after caring for him as a cub. They reunite with him, the lion hugs them (set to a great song) and we all cry. Watch the video.

I Can Has Cheezburger posts a man hugging a panda (or are they fighting?) and with crude fonts ... cause us to crumble. Go to the post.

A little girl writes a letter to God asking him to look after her dead dog. He kind of writes back, causing massive welling and forwards by moms. Read the full story.

Best Elvis Websites [KMOX]

[Did you listen to the "Elvis Online" segment on KMOX? Below is the complete list of links mentioned in the segment. Click away, Elvis fans!]

Sure, there's elvis.com with it's Graceland cam and its fancy virtual tours. But what about the real Elvis fans out there. Below are our picks for the hardworking Elvis fanatics out there who just want a little respect.

    • King Candids... Features several, decade-specific photo galleries of The King... we love the 70s fat Elvis and the ultra rare photo museum section. This site is packed with Elvis in everyday life ... signing autographs, hugging fans, meeting local kids. Simply great.
    • Elvis: Pittsburgh Explosion... The gentleman who runs this site is trying to recreate the December 31, 1976 Elvis New Years Eve Pittsburgh concert... gathering footage and audio from different sources to try to put out a concert DVD. You can play the video footage on the site in a small window
    • Elvis on Stage: A Photo Legacy ... Photographer Keith Alverson traveled with Elvis in the 70s and took great photos of his concert... he then put them all in a book, but it's no longer being published... so he's selling them online (but you can view them for free here) Urlesque Pick! 'Could this be you?' gallery of Elvis pulling various ladies on stage and making out with them
    • Youtube footage (live performances):

    My Way (Live)

    In The Ghetto

    Always On My Mind

Heartbreak Hotel (circa 1956, in his prime) Amazing Grace (with fan-edited slideshow)

Jailhouse Rock (Colorized version, complete with convict back-up dancers and mock jail set)

    • Elvis week on the web:
    • Elvis Is Alive!! - The theory: Elvis is still alive and working as a DEA Agent...based on a meeting he actually had with President Nixon.. In the poll on the site...we are asked "Did Elvis actually die in 1977?" 55% say no... The guestbook is great, and features sightings and speculation from believers...
    • Master & Session... Has recordings and master tapes of many of Elvis' in-studio recording sessions, lets you play streaming, and very cool for even non-Elvis fans.

'Billie Jean' Light-Up Floor Is Real, People

It takes a real man to admit he's always crushed on that awesome light-up floor from Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" ... but it takes a bigger man to blog about it. And that's just what Brian at Asylum did.

The light-up floor ... is real.
