Craigslist Deal of the Week: Free McDonald's Playground Equipment

There is a slide with a pirate on the top of it, two metal cage like things with Grimace on one of them and a plastic turn table thing.

I'm not even kidding with you. This is one of the best deals on Craigslist I've ever seen. If you have kids, or if you just like acting like a kid and feeling nostalgic for the days you once spent on the McDonald's playground with your Happy Meal, then this deal is for you.

You residents of the Clarkesville, Georgia area had better hop on this opportunity before May 9th...because if someone doesn't add this to their backyard collection by then, the owner is cutting up the equipment. And that would be a travesty.

Please give this Slinky a home. Your stairs will love you for it.

What The Frond Are You Talking About?

Fronds. What the heck are they? I googled the term and came up with several different definitions from Wikipedia and Webster's Online Dictionary. But it was not the answer I was looking for, I'm not talking about a leaf. These Fronds are different. And as far as I can tell, simply put-- they appear to be hilarious, yet slightly disturbing, photographs of celebrities whose eyes and lips are significantly smaller than the rest of their face.

The names of said celebrities are also changed. For instance, on the left is the likeness of 'Omy Wonehoss' (get it? Instead of Amy Winehouse?) At first, they are a bit creepy to look at, but I found myself scrolling through all the posts and could not look away. What can I say, they made me giggle. (And give one of us nightmares).

It's Time for a Group Hug!

I don't know about you -- but do you know what I love? Anonymous confessions. Yeah, we all know PostSecret, but I'm not crafty enough to make my confession look cool on a postcard. Not that I, uh, have anything to confess anyway...

So on this great, big Internet, I came across Group Hug. The site is described as
a place for anonymous confessions, with no editorial bias. Which is awesome.
Yes I agree, it is awesome. Some are heartfelt, some are sad and some are downright hilarious. And the best part is---it's all completely anonymous.
