Raccoons can be mischievous little creatures when they're knocking over trash cans and destroying your kitchen, but they sure are cute when they take a bath. This little guy's name is Tyrone Biggums and he is grabbing at the water coming out of this faucet like he thinks he is somehow going to pluck it out of thin air.
Tyrone is cooler than most of his fellow adorable raccoons because he has his very own Myspace page. So not only is he hip in the tub, he is hip on the web as well (if this were 2007, anyway).
Ah, I don't care if raccoons make horrible pets. I want one!

Hell my Cat does that. It's an everday routine. Cute raccoon but nothing special. Raccon's like water. Cats don't. Why do they have a raccon anyway? It ought to be out in the wild.

I used to have a pet raccoon named Rocky and he was adorable. We finally gave him to a zoo because he would break into our neighbors house and steal food and especially chocolate chip cookies. I also had a pet opossum for two years until it died and she was the very best thing ever. She loved following me around, I miss her a lot. I was licensed and if I hadnt cared for the animals they would have died at birth. They were too tame to put in the wild.

We saw one of our cats sippig from our faucet so we leave or faucet dripping so they can get a drink whenever they feel lke it. They seem to like drinknig from the faucet better than from their own water bowl or perhaps they like the challange. The little racoon is cute but they get very vicious when they get a little older and feel threatned. I live on a farm and we'e had to deal with few, especially in the winter when they are looking for a warm bed.

Unless this video is from a wildlife rehab facility, it has no business getting publicity. Wildlife should NEVER be kept as pets--doing so puts both the animal and the ill-informed humans at risk. In my years in wildlife rehab I have seen way too many animals injured or malnourished due to someone's misbegotten idea of entertainment or keeping "cool" animals at home.

Gee I have had a raccoon that I rescued for 10 years now. Neither myself or the raccoon ar at "risk". Are you the animal nazi that dictates how the rest of the world should act ? If we were all like you the world would be rather boring. Get over yourself. Raccoons rock.
Ps..... I am licensed to have this animal.
