It is no secret to anyone who has ever had to take the bus to get anywhere in a major city that it is a painfully slow process. Just how slow? So slow that even a man on a child's big wheel can beat a New York City M42 bus in a one mile race down 42nd street from 10th Avenue to Madison Avenue. I know it sounds ridiculous and impossible but one man believed in his big wheel enough to set out and prove that it could be done.
Comedian and film maker Mark Malkoff is that man. If I didn't see this video, I would have never believed something like this could be pulled off. He even had to fight traffic due to some traffic law making it illegal to ride a big wheel on the side walk. That is a level playing field, folks. The big wheel finished with a time of 12 minutes and 42 seconds and the bus made it in 15 minutes and 20 seconds. If you don't believe it watch this video and see for yourself.
