Aspiring tween pop sensation Rebecca Black's video for her single 'Friday' has gone super-viral in the past week, with over 16 million views as of this afternoon. Good Morning America sat down with her to see how she was handling her newfound fame.
Understandably, Rebecca was a little hurt by the comments people were making at first -- considering, you know, this is her dream and everything -- but now it seems like she's taking things in stride and just trying to enjoy the LOLs as they come.

Dear Ms. Black,
You are young, cute, obviously intelligent, and sweet. Keep smiling dear!
Anyone who would write a hateful or hurtful remark is either just some stupid kind or a very immature adult (who probably lives in his mommy's basement).
Enjoy all your good fortune to the fullest. I wish you only the best and please ignore the mean people of the world....they are unhappy and want you to be unhappy with them.
God bless and good fortune!
Mary

I like how the female presenter says "well, she does have a bit of talent, there" right at the end of the report.

Why didn't the bring up the part in the clip where she sings, "Gotta have my bowl. Gotta have my cereal." It's an obvious drug reference, and she's in 8th grade.
How are her friends even driving in the video? They look like they're 12.

So Tyler, I eat cereal out of a bowl every morning, and sometimes at night too. What the heck does cereal and a bowl have to do with drugs? I thought it was a direct reference to 'can't eat cereal without a bowl'. Please enlighten us... I'd sure hate to go into a restaurant and ask for a bowl and some cereal when it sounds like you're implying I might be asking for drugs. WTF?

I am totally shocked that this young girl is receiving so much flack from so many adults. Good grief! It's a song and kind of catchy at that. I liked her response in this video interview, she was good! I hope she stays strong and doesn't let the nasty comments get to her. I have a 13-year old, so this peaked my interest. And folks, shame on you all for being so mean! You don't like it, move on, walk away, turn it off...but why attack her with mean and hurtful or hateful remarks?

I thought her voice was terrible in the video but when she sang the national anthem right there she honestly sounded pretty decent...like train-with-a-singing-coach-for-a-few-weeks-and-then-try-again decent, but the video was just really awkward.
