I know it is Friday and all, but take that Rebecca Black song off repeat for just a few minutes and give this kid's song a listen. Only 16 years old, Steven Rossitto's rendition of Frank Sinatra's "My One And Only Love" is a soothing breath of fresh air. This kid has a incredible voice and some serious jazz piano skills to match.
You will be shocked and blown away as soon as you hear Steven start singing. I certainly was. I honestly got goosebumps. I just didn't expect a voice like that to come from someone so young. I just wish Ol' Blue Eyes were still around to hear this. Nicely done Steven!

Very nice, I agree, but he's more Sinatra influenced than a sound-alike. Don't see why such a big deal is made about his age...June Christy was singing with Stan Kenton at 15....talent is talent....and then there's Jackie Evancho at 11! But it is great to hear a teen-ager singing real music!

this kid does NOT sound like Sinatra. Not even close. Are you folks deaf....or did you forget what Sinatra DID sound like?

I'm sorry for the people who had the negative coments , are you so talented that you have the right to bash someone who does, give credit where credit is due. had it been your son or daughter, would you have been as hard or expected someone else to be, just food for thought. and f-u if my spelling and grammer aren't correct, i never said i was Hemingway

If you watch closely - you can see he is lip synching. If this was real, it would be great- but it's not.

Damn. The only thing missing was a burning cigarette in an ashtray and a glass of Jack on the piano.
Keep it up, young brother!

In a day when you have some much orchestrated digital voices and music, refreshing to hear a real voice and melody. The kid can sing and play, and if he emulates Sinatra, who cares. it is genuine and real and right now I think we all could use a dose of what music was and where it came from....

What a talented young dude! Clearly, he's listened to Sinatra's recordings, timing, and phrasing but he does not sound like Francis Albert. No worries! Keep up the great work ...as Frank might say: " "Hey pal, you sound mahvelous."

OK, let’s put things into perspective here Alex. Steven is a white Italian guy who is singing, that is as close to Sinatra as you get. His intonation, breath control and delivery have nothing in common with Sinatra. He does not have some serious jazz piano skills; he's accompanying himself with simple chord changes.
I'm no expert but I've been a professional singer and published songwriter for about twenty years and I'm sick of people posting videos of people with average musical skills and telling us how great they are. The saddest part is that this poor kid will probably end up on Oprah's new TV Network with a variety show. There's a lot more to being musician and entertainer than running down to Wal-Mart and buying a keyboard, some sheet music and a microphone and posting the first song you learn on the web.
That said I'd like to say great job Steven. You've picked a great genre of music which needs more and more young people representing it. The first thing to do is stop listening to Sinatra and everybody else, especially Buble, and find yourself in those tunes. Jazz is improvisional music which means you don't need to sound like something or someone else. Just be yourself, try to color within the lines so you don't lose too much of your audience and make a difference.
God bless the hard working proffessional musicians who are succeeding in a fickle business.

ROFL... you know this is lip synced right? If you listen to the voice you can tell it was sung with a mic in a large open room... it has a slight soft echo so common for club type settings...... and as you can plainly see..... he has a wall in the background. I work in the music industry... so recognize the different sound qualities immediately.
