dog guilty bad poker face YouTuber foodplot has a mystery on his hands. He left the house for the afternoon, and when he got home an empty bag of Friskies Party Mix cat treats was torn apart on the family room floor.

The culprit? One of his two dogs.

No one knows who's guilty at first, but luckily one of the dogs has a really bad poker face.

Why is it that anytime anyone posts ANYTHING on youtube involving an animal someone cries animal cruelty??? Do you see any abuse in this video whatsoever? I can't imagine what kinda lives you negative posters must have if you can see cruelty in something so sweet and funny. Sheesh!

This is great!! I have NO idea why the other negative comments. The owner clearly loves his dogs.. I think this clip is a hoot..

Its the owner fault because he left the treats out???!! Clearly, someone is missing something... I have to wonder what kind of a life, if any..some of you posters have, to condlude anything negatvie about this.. honest to pete..

Actually that is appeasement behavior. The dog doesn't feel 'guilty' per se, instead the dog knows (possibly from past experience) that the owners will get upset if there is Stuff on the floor. They do not make the connection between the messes they make, and the owner getting mad. If some human had come in and torn up the bag or made a mess without the owner being aware of it until they got home the 'guilty' looking dog would probably behave the same. The owner, btw, does not have to be abusive or 'mean' to the dogs to get this reaction, dogs are VERY good at reading human facial expressions and can pick up our emotions, even if they don't understand the cause. It's entirely possible that the dog that is not 'acting guilty' is the culprit, or that both dogs were involved. Or maybe the cat is the one who got into the treats and framed it on the dogs :P
