The world is obsessed with Facebook, but it's hard to fathom just how obsessed until you've seen the numbers. Video wizard Alex Trimpe lays bare our collective Facebook-loving souls in a new video called, appropriately enough, "The World is Obsessed With Facebook."
The stats are beautifully laid out and animated. 500 million active Facebook users. 750 million photos uploaded in one weekend. 48% of us checking Facebook right when we wake up. And if that's not scary enough, check out Trimpe's snapshot of the activity on the site every 20 minutes. It's insane.
And of course, my first instinct is to share this on Facebook.

This really is no surprise. The whole world wants to have some kind of connectivity that would render it some way better. But it really does not do much for them.

Ummm it has nothing to do with being lonely and btw arent you typing to someone right now, so stop being a hypocrite. It has more to do with being social and getting much more involved with our friends and families day to day lives than we normally would be. It is a wonderful tool for the disabled and the elderly and anyone who has a need for information and knowledge. Some of us use it for many many things the social aspect has not much to do with lonliness. And whats wrong with that if one is lonely maybe a shut in disabled or for whatever reason its a great tool to keep them in touch with people. You would sound much more credible if u yourself were not on the internet.

Most of your comments seem cogent, though your spelling and grammar are so atrocious as to strain the reader's attempt to understand you. Poor communication weakens credibility. Also, could you please explain the productive purpose of 'Ummm'?
