Remember cartoon-filled mornings as a kid in the 80s and early 90s? A time when all that mattered was wresting control of the remote from your big brother and mastering the marshmallow ratio in whatever totally ridiculous cereal you begged your parents for that week, because your next-door neighbor, Grace Cavadoy, had Fruity Marshmallow Krispies and GODDAMMIT you wanted them too!!! Ah...we've lost a lot of good brands since then.
So shotgun the sugar-saturated milk at the bottom of your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle bowl and imagine "I Will Remember You" playing faintly, as we take a tempting trip back through all the cereals who've moved on to that Big Breakfast in the sky.

Many of these cereals I did not like. One of my favorites was Super Golden Crisp. It was the best.

I thought that all of those cereals sounded VERY good! Even though I had never heard of them, I think they should bring all of them back!((:

Does anybody remember Three Stooges cereal. I remember having it as a kid. It was like unflavored Fruity Pebbles if I remember right.

Can't believe the list doesn't mention Rice Krinkles,
or Team Flakes.

Didn't Rice Krinkles have some kind of racist Asian character on the box or in the commercials?

I LOVED Rocky Road cereal!! Why did these all go away? Sure, I get why Urkel-O's went down the tube, but why marshmallow krispies? Damn Child Health Boards....Chocolate LUcky Charms went away too, just after I decided I liked it!

WTF??!!! I was born in the early 70s and I don't remember 1/2 these cereals. The most memorable ones were the Super Golden Crisp, C3POs and Smurf Crunch Berries. Wow! And they had fun activities ON the box. No special toys or anything. Ahhh nostalgia.

I remembere eating Ice Cream Cones, Double Dip Crunch, Rocky Road, S'mores Crunch, Fruity Marshmallow Crispies, Marshmallow Crispies, Frosted Crispies, Pac-Man, Circus Fun, and Super Golden Crisp cereal. They were all good. I wanted to get some of the other kinds, but my parnets said no junk food cereals. Now I eat healthier ones, and I really want to have those again. Nowadays there nothing but healthier cereals than those good one seen here. I want those to come back big time.

Some of the better tasting cereals I remember weren't even national brands. Back home in Georgia, we used to have this bargain grocery chain called Happy Penny (kinda like Aldis and Sav-A-Lot) that sold a brand of cereal called Captain Choco. His enemy was the Vanilla Villain. I bought it because it reminded me of the "Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs" Calvin of Calvin & Hobbes used to eat in the comics.
When I worked at Dollar General in the late 1990's, we had a brand of Mexican corn flakes whose mascot was an overly happy corn cob. The cereal was kinda bland, but that mascot was bizarre.

S'mores Crunch and Marshmellow Krispies were by far my all time favs! But, Super Golden Crisps are still around. At least last time I checked they did.
