Last week we put out the call for artists to send in original pieces inspired by the internet. One lucky winner will take home a Parked Domain Girl oil painting from Parker Ito worth around $300.

After the internet bat signal went out, we received a bunch of really great submissions in a many different forms: GIF, HTML, JPEG's of paintings... we've got them all.

Here are few of our favorites. You can still enter to win the Parked Domain Girl painting for yourself.

Patrick sent in his own version of Parked Domain Girl, called "Most Infamous Girl Pixelated."

Stephanie drew this as a representation of how people can project themselves online to be anything they want to be. She's also a cat lover.

Brad submitted a "nice painting of a cool guy holding a nice painting."

painting of woman pressing face up against a mirror
Brittany sent in a painting from a series called "Digital Identities". The portraits are taken from her collection of 3,000 myspace photos, and this one is titled "I'm drunk here."

screencap of space art
"spaceca.mp" is an HTML piece submitted by Josh and it's delightfully retro-web. For the full effect see the whole thing here.
