The Japanese title of this video translates to "a parrot looking at the camera," but that doesn't do justice to the real star: the super-relaxed cat who's just chilling out and completely ignoring the bird. Go ahead and ham it up for the camera, birdie. Kitty doesn't give a hoot.
If classic American cartoons have taught me anything, it's that cats go to extreme lengths to devour any pet bird in the house. Apparently things don't work that way in real-life Japan, where cats disregard food and acquire naps. Good to know, if you're a bird.
