As children, we all stood completely naked on our beds holding nothing but an accordion as our little sisters looked on in fear, but to replicate that exact pose a couple of decades later? That'd be crazy.
That's what photographer Irina Werning is doing in her new "Back to the Future" series. She's taking different people's favorite old school photos and recreating them in the same space, with the same clothes and with the same person, who in most cases, are at least 20 years older than when the first photo was taken.
The results are usually hilarious and always fascinating. Werning's attention to detail is remarkable, and you'll probably be surprised to see how little a person's face changes over the course of their life.

Sadly, it's a total rip off of zefranck's Young Me Now Me : http://www.zefrank.com/youngmenowme/

Honestly, the attention to detail in these photos is a million times better than any of the photos in Young Me Now Me, no offense to that project. I would definitely hesitate to call it a rip off. These are lovely.

Ditto. It's not like it sucks because it's been done before, but there's no need to bash Ze or diminish his execution of the idea either. His was communal and sourced by readers, and therefore makes me feel much more warm and snuggly. Also, Ze's amazing.
