Buster is Urlesque's inside source into the popular web cat scene. With courage, a webcam and a little catnip for the long nights, he interviews the web's biggest felines.
Way back in 2009, Fatso Schmidt, aka Keyboard Cat, was everywhere. A feline with a penchant for tickling the ivories became the face of arguably one of the biggest internet memes to sweep the world in the past few years. Unfortunately Fatso -- the star of the popular seed viral video that has since received over 12 million YouTube views -- did not get to experience the wave of sudden fame, as the original clip had been taken 20 years earlier, and Fatso had since passed.
However, that's not the end of the story. The Keyboard Cat legacy lives on! I caught up with Fatso's successor, Bento who claims to be "Keyboard Cat Reincarnated" and continues to keep the spirit alive in new web videos and even, most recently, a primetime commercial.
Check out my video interview with Bento to hear about life after Fatso and what's it's like to walk a mile in her paws.
