So if you've seen Showtime's hit series Dexter, you're familiar with a couple of recurring schticks that no one ever seems to acknowledge as ridiculous. For instance, the fact that talking to Deb is like playing Mad Libs with swear words, or that Miami Metro is really horrible at giving their serial killers catchy names.
Well thank goodness the people over at LandlineTV have put together a pitch-perfect parody, because even if you haven't seen an episode I feel like you'll be able to appreciate the greatness. That, and it saves you the time of actually having to watch Dexter.

Funny, but not as good as the show. Granted, I am a total Dexter addict, but this last season was a m a z i n g. It's painful waiting for new episodes.

the parody is funny, and in ways a lot like the show can be, however I for one still feel Dexter is a really great show and way different than almost anything else out there? this last season did drag a little, due to catching up after Dexters wife was killed, so I hope next season will be a little more fluid and better?

OK, the parady was just that - a parady and not so great. It is pathetic to claim, " that it saves you from watching the show". Dexter is awesome and addicting, waiting until September for the new season is a bummer. From reading your article, you obviously don't get Dexter!
