You might remember Craig Rowin as the guy asking millionaires to give him one million dollars via YouTube a couple of weeks ago. For those of you who don't know, he was very up-front about his reasoning behind asking for the money: his own general happiness. He didn't have a plan for what he'd do with the money, or a cause that made the money immediately necessary. He just kind of wanted someone to donate a million bucks for kicks.
Welp, his polite strategy actually worked, and some independently wealthy person named Benjamin has actually agreed to straight-up give Craig one million US dollars. Just for asking.
There's going to be a check-handing ceremony at the UCB Theatre on February 2, and everyone's invited to come witness Craig go from "normal dude who makes videos on the internet" to "millionaire who makes videos on the internet."
