Since everyone everywhere can't get enough of 3D movies, Francois Vogel and Jonathan Post have invented a system to make movies look 3D without the annoyance of eyewear.

Right now it only works on 120Hz monitor displays, but basically this little device consists of two Bluetooth-looking things that you stick to the sides of your head. They make your eyes blink in rapid, alternating winks, and apparently that's what creates the 3D effect. Easier than glasses? Probably not. Weirder looking? You bet.

In fact, these things make you look absolutely insane, and I'm curious about how healthy it is for your eyes to spasm that rapidly for an extended period of time. This dude Francois seems to think that the screen looks cool, so maybe it's worth it.

I've got my fingers crossed that it's fake, though.
