panel from comic about watching other people use internetA popular comic about the frustrations of watching other people use the internet has been brought to life on YouTube in a cartoon by Redditor Guy Collins. The original comic shows a savvy web user watching a coworker do infuriatingly stupid things like Googling Google and then clicking on the link to Google, failing to put search terms in quotes, and (most rage-inducing of all!) scrolling without using the scrollwheel.

The observer keeps a poker face (denoted by the caption "poker face") while his internal rage boils inside a thought bubble throughout the original comic. In the cartoon, this works even better. Animator Collins uses the thought bubble itself as a prop to great comic effect. The only way it could be better is if he had included the final panel, where the observer dies of old age as the incompetent Googler finally finds what he's looking for. Oh well, the old-timey piano soundtrack more than makes up for it.
