Director Andrew Wonder recently shot a short film documenting guerilla historian and urban explorer Steve Duncan as he trekked through New York City's underbelly, and it's absolutely awesome.
Duncan brings Wonder down through the subway tunnels to an abandoned subway station, through a manhole to look at the canal that gave Canal Street its name, and all the way to the top of the Williamsburg Bridge -- all of it while keeping an eye out for cops or city personnel who would arrest them for trespassing.
At no point in the film do you get the impression that these guys think they're in the clear, but the stuff that they're looking at is just too cool not to film.
