liberty university students singing antoine dodson bed intruder songA bunch of kids at Liberty University recently started an unofficial Christmas choir and performed a cover of Antoine Dodson and the Gregory Brothers' Bed Intruder Song. Sure, Bed Intruder has been done to death at this point, but the Christmas version should warm the cockles of even the most Grinchy hearts. Especially when you hear the ending, where they change the words of 'Carol of the Bells' to 'You are so dumb, you are really, really dumb.' Brilliant.

Of course, this is even more interesting because Liberty University was founded by the late Jerry Falwell, an uber-conservative evangelical minister best known for calling a Teletubby gay. Somehow, I don't think Falwell would have approved of the Bed Intruder Christmas Choir and its awesome, mohawked lady conductor (even if they did edit the "trying to rape 'em" line out). In fact, the YouTube comments thread for this video has turned into an argument about the university, instead of a discussion of the song. Way to break stereotypes, Liberty University students.
