We received an interesting email the other day from a family whose IRL upholstery business went under after 27 years. Instead of giving up and chucking their remaining fabric into a dumpster, they started Rounsa, an iPad case company that operates online.
Each Rounsa case is made from material "rescued from the landfill," and each has its own quirky personality. Some even have videos! For example, a one-of-a-kind case made out of Shamwow was named Vince, and their video advertising "him" is a Shamwow commercial parody. There are about a dozen personalities in the store right now.
