We recently reported on the super-effectiveness of the new Wikipedia donation banners featuring the intense stare of Jimmy "Jimbo" Wales, the site's founder. Well, we weren't the only ones entranced by Jimbo's powerful gaze: parodies of this thing have become a bona fide web trend.

Whether playing on the image of Jimbo's face or the "a personal appeal" text of the banners, these parodies are all pretty clever. Here are the best we've found so far, but I really hope it doesn't end here. All I want for Christmas is a full-scale Jimmy Wales meme. And a pony.
