Skater Messes With Guy's Bush, Guy Loses It

skater bush I know that image doesn't look very interesting, but the video after the jump is the funniest thing I've seen all day. A middle-aged dad wearing shorts flips out on a passive, terrified 20-year old skater boi because he moved a decorative bush in order to create a jump for his skateboard.

He shrieks at him for a few minutes. Then the guy's girl calls the cops and the poor kid just sits there during a few minutes of deliciously awkward silence.

Daaa-aad, stop. You're embarrassing me.

The guy overreacts, but he is right. Both the skater and the guy are idiots. I'd be mad too if some dumb kid kept digging up plants in my yard or in front of my business. The old guy is waaaaaay overreacting though.

While the skateboarder should not have removed the bush, the plant owner is so over the top, and unable to control both his anger and his f-bombs, that many viewers will probably support the skateboarder. The skateboarder agreed to pay for the damage. Case closed. It should have ended there.

However, the foul mouthed plant owner continued to be demeaning, verbally abuse and debasing to the young man, and is probably guilty of what is known as false inprisonment, preventing the young man from getting help or assistance from a parenteven walking around for what is, compared to the heavy handed verbal abuse from the plant owner, a relatively trivial problem with a plant.

The lady who at his direction called the police, perhaps his wife or employee, can't even stand being near the plant owner.

No one will remember the skateboarder-just another skateboarder who thinks-wrongly-that other person's busineses and property are just one large skateboarding park-but the whole wide world has surely heard enough from the plant owner and and have passed judgement. He's certainly guilty of limited ability to control his mouth, of shouting obscenities and being endlessly verbally abusive to the skateboarder, showing his immaturity, bad judgement and not being able to put this incident in adult perspective. Wow...Think this plant guy has misplaced anger. The skateboarder's maturity and ability to handle the verbal abuse and aggressive behavior probably prevented what could of turned into a really bad scene. Not to say the skateboarder was totally in the right...But the plant guy was totally wrong and breaking more of a law if you ask me. Maybe he needs to take up a stress relieving exercise like skateboarding or gardening.

I don't really get everybody's reaction over here.

Did the old guy overreact? probably. Was the skater mature in the way he responded to the guy blowing a gasket? Totally. But why the hell was the guy pulling out plants somebody paid for and planted? It doesn't matter he apologizes and offers to pay for it. Point is he's destroying other people's property.

I can understand why the dude is angry if he'd have to replant those bushes a bunch of times because somebody thought it was cool to constantly rip them out of the ground, just so they'd have something to jump off of.... o_O

Yeah... 19 seconds in he clearly grabbed the kid which is illegal. If I were in this situation it would have played out quite differently. Good job on filmer that kept filming. Obvious abuse verbally and for a second there physically.
