Internet darling Keyboard Cat starred in an ad for pistachios that premiered during last night's World Series game and, I've gotta say, I'm more interested in the set photos. I'm not discrediting the ad or anything, it's cute, but apparently Perez Hilton and Rod Blagojevich were both on set, which is weird because neither of them appear in the video at all.

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out why they were there, and this is what I've come up with:

  • Keyboard Cat has a very specific rider that includes two (2) mid-level, morally bankrupt public figures
  • KC is dating Perez and they ran into Rod on the way to the car
  • KC is dating both Perez and Rod, but neither of them knows about it, which means that he was running around set all day trying to distract the guys with a bunch of wardrobe changes and crazy antics! (Starring Kate Hudson as Keyboard Cat, hits theaters this spring)
  • KC lent Perez his satin-lined blazer under the condition that it only be worn in his presence
Whatever the case, I'm intrigued. Clearly this cat is more high-profile than I realized.
