Tumblr is like a crock-pot of nascent memes. It mixes just the right ingredients: web culture, attention-starved people with lots of free time, and a like button. That said, last week a single paintbrush edit made by Tumblr blogger joaniepepperoni ended up inadvertently sparking what turned into a full-fledged tidal wave of memes inspired by the lyrics to Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream.'

It's called #teenagememe and it's ridiculously funny. Plus, once you start thinking of them, you can't stop.
