You may remember Mark Pernice as the guy who used Apple Photo Booth to stretch his face out, and then brought the resulting image to life as a grotesque mask. Well, after the viral success and news coverage of the original mask, Pernice has turned to the internet for funding to make six more of these uniquely creepy creations.

Pernice's Kickstarter project is looking for $5,650, which is just enough to build the six masks and do a photo/poster series without Pernice pocketing any profit himself. RIght now, he's a little over a quarter of the way to his goal. Whoever makes the highest single pledge -- currently, it's at $500 -- will get a mask made of their own Photo Booth-ed face. You've got to admit it would make one heck of a Halloween costume for next year.

(Oh, and you might spot Urlesque in Pernice's video about the project, when he starts talking about all the coverage his first mask got. Thanks, Mark!)
