a tree from the david crowder lite brite music video The David Crowder Band decided to break out the old-school Lite Brite and make an animated video for their track 'SMS (Shine).' It wasn't as easy as the cute finished product makes it seem, though: they had 80 friends helping with the 1,200-frame animation, amounting to over 2,000 man-hours of work for a 3-and-a-half-minute video. Impressive!

700,000 Lite Brite pegs and 148 pizzas later, you've got this Internet-friendly masterpiece of animation, backing a relatively nondescript Christian indie rock track. Ah well, not every amazing video can be for the pop anthem of late-2010. Leave that part to Willow Smith.

Thanks for the tip, Colette!
