stephen colbert oprah and jon stewart announce combined rally
Oprah made a surprise guest appearance on last night's Daily Show to help Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert combine their two rallies. That's right, the Rally to Restore Sanity and the March to Keep Fear Alive are now The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear. And what did Oprah have to do with it? Well, look under your seats ...

... just kidding. But the Daily Show audience did look under their seats, and they found that Oprah was flying all of them to the now-combined rally! It was inevitable that two events scheduled for the same time and place, with two mostly-overlapping audiences, would be combined. I don't think anyone saw the Oprah thing coming, though.

The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear happens on October 30th at the National Mall. Make your travel plans now, because Oprah just filled a bunch of hotel rooms.
