Will Smith the Fresh Prince at a piano
The Fresh Prince Project
If I told you that an artist who calls himself Dr. Tweenus Gonzo recorded a 24-song album and posted it to the internet, you'd probably be like, "Okay, next" -- and fair enough -- but what if I told you that each song on the album is about an episode from the first season of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air? And that the songs are funny? And that you can download everything for free if you so choose thanks to the power of the internet? Excited yet? Thought so.

On his bandcamp site, Tweenus offers a digital download of the album where you can name your own price (a la Radiohead's 'In Rainbows'), but he also gives you a compact disc option where, for $15, he will paint you original cover art from the season 1 episode of your choice -- and let's be honest, who doesn't want to own an original painting of young Will Smith at a piano?

All-in-all this project is just the best. From the concept, to lyrics like "last night I dreamed that I went to prom with Harriet Tubman," it's just balls-to-the-wall creative. I salute you, Dr. Tweenus. Wherever you are.
