Exclusive Interview with Keanu Reeves, "The Happiest Man Alive" - World Without Internet
I don't know. I mean, I've been doing a lot of Bikram Yoga lately. Maybe that has something to do with it.
Keanu Reeves has every reason to be upset. He spent the last decade devoted to a floundering film trilogy. In Roger Ebert's review of the first installment, "The Matrix," he wrote, "This concept of a virtual computer world in which humans spend all their time...I don't see it resonating with audiences. It just doesn't make any sense." And boy was he right. The only reason the second and third installments ever got released (straight to DVD) is Keanu's dedication to the arcane concept.
But he's not letting it get him down.
Well, I'm just trying to keep busy. I don't really attribute it to anything. Just try to see the good side of things mostly. You know. I try to have a lot of antioxidants in my diet. I've been drinking this acai berry smoothie every morning.
Reeves tells me that when he wakes up every morning, he tries to think of five things in his life that he's grateful for.
And he's also been doing this laughing therapy.
It's all about finding your center, I think. At least once a week I get out my aromatherapy candles and take a bubblebath. Everyone needs some "me" time. Even movie stars.
