mark zuckerberg on the simpsons
A fictional Mark Zuckerberg took the number one spot at the box office over the weekend in The Social Network, but the real-life Facebook founder got some screen time of his own -- albeit in animated form -- on 'The Simpsons.' What's a bigger honor, having a dramatized version of your life made into a major motion picture, or appearing on the same show that's featured the likes of U2, Stephen King and Stephen Hawking?

However you slice it, Zuckerberg (whose voice sounds surprisingly sexy in a cartoon) comes off as a much nicer guy on 'The Simpsons' than he did on the big screen. The obligatory status update joke -- "Mark Zuckerberg is ... happy to meet new friends!" -- is cute, and it's amusing to watch Zuck goofing off with other billionaires. It might not rehabilitate his image, but I doubt he really cares. I mean, would you say no to 'The Simpsons?'

Easter Eggs: If you look on Zuck's Facebook wall in the background of this scene, you'll see he's friends with several Springfieldians. Also, there's a wall post from the Simpsons version of Apple chief Steve Jobs -- aka "Steve Mobs" -- who has never appeared on the show himself.
