Sad Keanu Reeves
The 'Sad Keanu' meme has been the gift that keeps on giving these past few months, so you'd think Keanu Reeves would have heard about the paparazzi photo of him that's gone viral -- but apparently he hadn't until he sat down with Vulture for an interview at the Woodstock Film Festival last weekend. The first half of the interview is about Reeves' work, but things get meme-y about halfway through:

Vulture: You're taking over the Internet. Have you seen all the "Sad Keanu" stuff out there?
Keanu: My publicist showed me the photo, but no.

Vulture: There's not one photo. There are millions. You're Photoshopped next to kittens and into Pulp Fiction and next to the cast of The Breakfast Club, and in a million different ways. Have you seen those?
Keanu: Oh, that's funny! No, no, I haven't seen them.

Vulture: There are millions, really. Google "Sad Keanu." You haven't?
Keanu: [Laughs.] No.
Reeves then goes on to say the meme sounds like "good clean fun," and that it's "conceptually funny." Self-deprecating and a friend of the internet? I'm gonna go ahead and say it: Keanu Reeves is an American hero.
