They told me I was crazy -- that there was no way I'd find another person out there who loved French pastry as much as I do. They said even if I found someone who accepted my passion for flaky breakfast snacks, they'd probably be a dog person, or worse, a lizard person.

But I'm standing before you today to let you know that I have found someone on YouTube who shares both of my passions, and I'm willing to bet that there are even more like us out there. Dozens, maybe.

Dozens of American citizens who think cats look like croissants.

And while we may be few, we are a proud people, and our days of living in silence are over.
