At Urlesque, we've time and again expressed our undying love for Awkward Family Photos and its offshoot that features pet photos. We were even able to coerce the creators to appear on our podcast AND sound off on their favorite awkward photos.

But above all of this, we still wanted more. We wanted to hear from the true personalities behind the site and book's success: the Awkward Family Photos Grandparents.

Urlbot Kelly caught up with the grandparents, Selma and Kenny, and defied the typical rule of keeping quiet in a bookstore to chat about their involvement in the AFP site and book, their take on the "awkward" phenomenon, the internet and more.
