Coca-Cola Happiness Machine Dispenses Flowers, Pizza, Cupcakes and More

Coca-Cola's attempt to get in on this whole "viral internet marketing" thing is a "Happiness Machine" that looks like a regular Coke vending machine, but gives away all kinds of wonderful things for free. It starts out by dropping an extra can of Coke, moves on to spitting out tons of free Coke bottles, and then starts dispensing flowers, pizza, sandwiches, cupcakes and more.

Coke has pulled off the Happiness Machine stunt twice now: first on an unnamed American college campus, and then at London's Imperial College. Both times, the machine drew massive crowds, and the videos got respectable view counts on YouTube.

My son who is 9 thought this was the best thing to ever happen he told see MOMMY machine are people to. they know when people are sad or when they need food to go with their soda. I wish this could happen to him someday... he has one of the trusest sprits I have ever seen. He has had 12 surgeyies with two more heart surgery;s to go and he still BELIEVES in people, machines and god. thank you COKE for giving him proof of his faith

Coke should change their machine to the "Calorie Machine" instead of the "Happiness Machine". Seriously Coke, we wonder why America and the UK are more than 60% obese each? Don't get me wrong, its great to share happiness, but pizza+coke+cupcakes gives me diarrhea just thinking about it xD.

I love the idea of sharing happiness! We could use more of it these days. Thanks Coca-Cola, great marketing idea. And to you sad-sapp or negative ninny commenters who think you are so profound either shutup and go back into your miserable, dark little cubbyhole or come out into the light, keep quiet and have an iced cold drink, maybe a double.

It's funny that at the beginning of the video, when the Cokes kept coming out, no one bothered to tell anyone...they just kept stealing Cokes...sad, sad commentary on our society.

Frankerin...they did not know the Cokes were free, you rube. They thought they were just getting free Cokes because of a faulty machine. Maybe you should learn how to interpret a text, or do you need a child to do it for you?

Fantastic! Good, simple fun... Great idea Coke... You need to make a national television ad campaign around this concept. It made everyone in my office smile... A Coke and a smile!

As for the person with the complaint regarding Coke making America fat (fatter with cupcakes and pizza). Take responsibility to where it belongs. Coke isn't the problem. Our problem is that too many people point fingers and don't take any responsibility for their weight, smoking or alcohol problems. The downfall of America. Coke, pizza and cupcakes are all fine... In moderation. My favorite quote "Alcoholism isn't the use of a bad thing, but the abuse of a good thing."
