Cee-Lo Green's viral hit "F**k You" tore up the internet with a simple, perfect typographic music video last month, but it raised some serious questions about what would come next for the Gnarls Barkley member's summer hit. The Urlbots tackled the topic on the Urly Show: What would the promised "real" music video look like, and would it be as good as the text-only version? How does a song with 16 f-bombs and the n-word get played on the radio?

Well, now we have answers to those questions. Urlesque is just a little bit too thrilled to present the new Cee-Lo "F**k You" video (still the dirty version, so hide your children and grandparents) and the radio-friendly compromise "Forget You." Yeah, that's right, "Forget You." It's as absurdly fun as it sounds.

Here's the answer you've been waiting for: yes! Yes, the live-action "F**k You" video is even better than the typographical version. It follows the romantic misadventures of Cee-Lo in a malt shop setting. He loses his girl to a kid with a cool toy Ferrari, messes up his pick-up attempt in high school, and gets fries and ketchup dumped on his shirt by the heartbreaker in college. Don't feel too bad, though: present day Cee-Lo gets his revenge in the end, driving past the malt shop where the heartbreaker is sweeping up outside, tossing money around. F**k you indeed!
'Forget You' Radio Edit
And here's the "Forget You" clean version. It's an interesting compromise to get radio play: keep the catchiness of the song, but lose the part that made it controversial. It takes all the teeth out of Cee-Lo's sweet-sounding kiss-off to the girls who have rejected him and just turns it completely comical. Ain't that some shhh? It just goes to show that the internet has become a better medium to convey the spirit of a song than the radio ever was.
