As modern humans, we're all pretty obsessed with looking at ourselves in the mirror. Animals, on the other hand, don't really get it. That reflection? That's another animal, and it's on their turf! Oh no! Here are 10 videos of animals attacking their own reflections with varying degrees of ferocity. Cats and dogs are in there, of course, but we also found birds, fish and even a goat.
Mochi thinks she's spotted another Persian cat sneaking up from the floor ... oh, wait.
This kitten is getting frustrated that his nemesis seems to match his every move. Poor kitteh.
What's sillier than two kittens? Two kittens and two kitten reflections!
Cats don't get to have all the fun. Dogs love mirrors, too! Zoey the German Shepherd/Terrier mix wants to kiss that other puppy, but the other puppy won't quite kiss her back, so I guess she'll have to fight it.
Rambo is another adorable puppy, and the star of the most-viewed puppy vs. mirror video of all time. This one has over 3 million YouTube views.
Most of the pet vs. reflection videos online are of dogs and cats, but occasionally a less popular pet appears. Check out this young bearded dragon.
Of course, this list wouldn't be complete without a Betta fish (also known as a Siamese Fighting Fish) taking on its own reflection.
Goats are getting more popular as pets all the time, and they're apparently allowed in the house now. Lucky for us, that's where people keep their mirrors, and this goat just discovered one.
This one's not a pet, it's just a wild cardinal that's stumbled upon a car mirror. This bird is not happy that her reflection is honing in on her territory, and she apparently went on fighting it for 4 days, even when the car moved.
What the heck is that noise? Oh, it's just a Canadian goose, pecking at its own reflection in the office window. Can we please get a dance remix of this? (Warning: Mild language from a naughty videographer ahead!)
I had a hummingbird that courted himself in a mirror on our front porch all summer three years ago. He was so engrossed in his own reflection I was able to sit directly behind him and take pictures of him and his reflection in the mirror. I was able to run my finger down the honeysuckle vine he sat on and he would step onto my finger without taking his eyes off his reflection. We called him "Mirror Boy".

The Northern Cardinal is most certainly not a female.
Also it is a "Canada" Goose rather than "Canadian" Goose.

That cardinal is a guy, I believe. The females aren't as brightly coloured.

Some people just wear their stupidity well! It is Canada Geese and the Cardinal is male.
