Cute Overload's main feature is animal-related cuteness, but its second most important quality is the weird and adorable language the Cute Overload community has created. This unique vocabulary -- sometimes called "snorglish" -- reads like a cross between LOLspeak and baby-talk. It now contains so many terms that it requires its own glossary.

Since we constantly geek out about cute animals and love Cute Overload so much. we've decided to pay tribute to the site's tewtally anerable cuteologists by picking out our favorite terms and showing you what they look like. Welcome to the internet's cute, snorgley underbelly.
Squee!
Squee is the noise you make when you see an unbearably cute baby animal and your head explodes. Squee is basically the mission of Cute Overload. (Aside from trying to systemically determine what makes things cute, of course.) This puppy -- or "puppeh," in snorglish -- got several "squee" comments.

Comfterbuls
Comfterbuls means comfortable, but to a very, very high degree. This is used for sleeping, napping and snuggling animal pictures. The Newfoundland and boy in this picture are prime examples of being SO comfturbuls.

Muppy
This is a simple equation: muppet + puppy = muppy. Any really shaggy puppy that looks almost too puppet-like to be a real dog is a muppy. Opinions vary about which dogs are muppies, but the one pictured here seems to have a consensus.

Honk-Shu
An onomatopoeia based on the sound of kitty snores. Honk-shu refers to sleeping animal pictures, which everyone knows are some of the most adorable animal pictures around. This kitten is definitely honk-shu. See synonyms at "tie-tie," aka tired.
Cronshe
Also spelled cronch or key-ronsche. Means "crunch" -- aka, the sound cute animals make when they are eating something crunchy. For example, this amazing guinea pig is cronshing some celery. Awesome.
