Hey so you know what's weird? The faster you film something, the slower it appears. It's all about frame rate. A typical TV show contains about 24 frames per second. Tom A. Warner high-speed lightning strike videos have 9,000! That's more than 300 times slower, which means you can see things in a lightning strike that you never knew where there. Like elephants. And angel tears. And lightning forming like an Etch-A-Sketch. I promise you'll see at least one of those things in these awesome lightning videos.

Um, that would be 30 frames per second for NTSC TV (actually, 29.97). 25 if you're in the UK or anywhere else that uses PAL. Movies are shot on film at 24 fps.
