Ivy was always happy to tell stories about her life experiences, and she got her friends from Hillside manor to take a dip in the Twitter pool along with her. Near the end of her life, she was ill and unable to tweet, but the staff at Hillside updated her many fans about her health.
Ivy started on Facebook (at the young age of 102), but she eventually found she liked Twitter more. Twitter liked Ivy, too, and it opened up a lot of amazing opportunities for her. She got to meet one of her favorite singers, Peter Andre, and visit with Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Anyone who's afraid they're "too old" to learn how to use Twitter and Facebook can draw inspiration from this fantastic, outgoing woman.
