Lauren and JP's Hipster Wedding Video Could Be Ridiculous But Isn't (Video)

Lauren and ~~Jean Pierre~~ JP got married in La Grange, Georgia, where they didn't hire a videographer to shine a light in the faces of aunts and uncles, begging for well wishes for the bride and groom. No, Matt Odom of Rock and Roll Hearts proved that not every wedding video requires footage of a DJ forgetting the name of the newlyweds as he demands everyone lose their minds to Lionel Richie's 'All Night Long.'

With the video set to the music of Passion Pit, Lauren and JP obviously subscribe to the hipster sensibility, with Odom praising the couple for their "creative sensibilities," claiming on the Rock and Roll Hearts blog that "they immediately grasped the concept of what I wanted...which was to create a music video more-so than a wedding video."

So... are hipsters the new Bridezillas? Is "twee" the new "classic"? Most importantly, is Passion Pit the new ABBA?

big girls get married too so what is wrong with that. I thought she looked very good. That goes to show you that love has no limits. Marriage is honorable among all according to the Bible, so that includes women with extra padding.

My love told me: beauty doesn't come in just one size. She's gorgeous, absolutely stunning and radiant. This is the most beautiful wedding video I've ever seen. Usually wedding videos are awful and boring. We attended a wedding and reception. My 5 year grandson Mickey kept putting big afro wigs on the guests and everybody was howling with laughter. Do you think the videographer got footage of it? Nooooooooo. Everyone was disappointed. This video is GREAT!

Actually, if you look at the nice digs of the home the reception was in, it was their home! Not trailer trash, not fat, not ugly and most assuredly not Lame. People who say dumb mean things, are not comfortable with their ownselves and need to try and pick on people that ARE comfortable. Hint: most preps I ever went to school with. Why do you think they are the washed up, has beens, divorced alcoholics they are today! Male and Female!
