This is just too sweet. If there's anything on the internet that can warm a cold heart, it's when animals of different species decide to take a break from eating one another alive to form a friendship.
We've seen it before -- a cat and a bird, a mouse and a parakeet, some monkeys and a big freaky goat -- and now the tradition lives on with George the bulldog and Winston the tortoise as they take a moment to enjoy a handful of Cheerios side by side. It's a beautiful friendship, isn't that right, cartoon bluebirds? (Cartoon bluebirds chirp cheerfully in agreement and use their beaks to tie a lovely satin ribbon around something in my house for no reason.)
