This is not just any pug.
This is Teddy Almond Turtle. He has a preternatural grasp of the English language and he knows better than to say meaningless things like "woof" and "arf."
This pug yells for Batman.
He's also got so many rolls of neck fat it looks like he's wearing a second pug as a scarf, but that's another discussion.

I'm waiting on one of my dogs to learn how to call CatWoman.
That would earn an extra treat!

The pug is cute, but he is just making a noise on command. He does not have a "grasp on the English language". He has no idea what "batman" means, it is just a noise.

No S*@t Sherlock!! What color is the sky in your world k9sue??Obviously the dog is vocalizing and I'm sure the author of the above blurb(Emmy) knows that too; she was being clever, it's called creative writing. Geez; lighten up a little, enjoy life, quit thinking so much!!

It isn't that difficult to teach a dog or a cat to say simple words in English. Of course they don't know what those words mean but they do understand that saying them gets the desired results! I had a pointer that said "I Love You MaMa" when prompted and a cat that insisted (0ver and 0ver and Over again!!!!) on "Right Now MaMa" when she wanted to eat! If you have a pet that "talks" a lot all on their own it is not that difficult to teach them to say a few words in English. LOL I thin I have WAY too much time on my hands some days!

This is too cute. I love it. And while any animal may not comprehend the exact meaning of what they are "saying," they certainly DO communicate with the people who are intelligent enough to understand what they are saying. Come to think of it, most animals are far more intelligent than a lot of humans I know.
