idf soldiers dancing to kesha's tik tok
Soldiers dancing to popular songs and posting the videos on YouTube is nothing new, but some Israeli Defense Force soldiers put a new twist on the trend when they spontaneously got down to Ke$ha's "TiK ToK" while on patrol in Hebron.

Apparently, it's not a great idea to dance down the street in the middle of a territory you occupy. It's hard to tell whether this video got 2.5 million views over a few days because people think it's funny or because they were outraged that IDF troops were dancing in the middle of a very sensitive occupation. Whoever posted the video titled it "It's easy to laugh at the occupation when you're the oppressor (and a douchebag)."

Either way, the soldiers got busted and faced disciplinary hearings, and they've been ordered to make an anti-dancing video as an example to others. Without taking a political stance on the situation, I'm just going to go ahead and say that I really hope someone leaks that to YouTube.
