It looks like a decent number of people showed up to get their squirtgun on, but enough to win over Google? Well, the different teams did dress in colors from the Google logo, and there was a Diet Coke and Mentos fountain to signal the beginning of the game, so that should work in their favor. This isn't the first stunt Greenville has pulled, either: they also formed an enormous Google logo on main street, using glowsticks. On the other hand, Topeka, uh, changed its name to Google, Kansas.

This is not a flash mob.
It's a water gun fight.

Actually, this flashmob watergun fight wasn't designed for wooing Google - it was an attempt to find a way to decide which color/letter from GoogleOnMain was the superior force. However, I think we've decided that we now have to have another event/contest to decide who gets credit for winning FlashSplashGVL. :-)
In any case, we were just out to have fun and to keep the spirit of Google On Main and the WeAreFeelingLucky campaign alive... We do know how to have fun here in Greenville, SC! Thanks for posting about it!
BTW, here's another video of/about the event (FlashSplashGVL) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcNUiIqARGo
