Buster is Urlesque's inside source into the popular web cat scene. With courage, a webcam and a little catnip for the long nights, he interviews the web's biggest felines.
Quite a long time has passed since my last investigative report because I've been sleeping hard at work getting my paws on this hot story. And I must say, it was worth the wait.
In mid-June, a viral video took the web by storm in which a kitten wearing a tiny hat gets slapped by an older cat, Speedo. Some viewers thought it was funny and others thought it was cruel -- the controversy around scratching posts was inescapable. Even though I watched follow up videos in which the kitten (Scout Jr.) was nomming on some ice cream and getting loved on, I was still curious -- how IS Scout doing now? And, most importantly, why did Speedo do it?
Watch this installment of Cat Chat where I talk to Scout AND Speedo to find out the answers to those important questions. Also, Scout talks about what's next for him, offers advice to others looking to break into the biz and Speedo (finally) breaks his silence.
