David Thorne

David Thorne, who writes the hilarious e-mail prank website 27BSlash6, is known for being a bit of a jerk to his bumbling coworkers. In case you're not familiar with Thorne, this is the guy who famously tried to pay his bills with a drawing of a spider and invited the whole internet to Kate's party.

Anyway, his latest email exchange started when a coworker asked him to design a poster for her missing cat. What happened? Well, she got a poster, but it wasn't exactly the poster she wanted ...

Here's a picture of Missy, the missing cat:

Here's the first poster David made. He's a professional designer, so he did the job his way.

And, after a classic exchange between the designer and his non-paying "client," this is the poster she eventually gave up and accepted.

I usually find his pranks funny but for some reason I can't get into this one. Losing a pet is terrifying! Terrible of him to prey on her emotions. Innocent ones like paying a bill with the spider were much easier for me to enjoy.
