Ever wonder how ironclad your password is? Using a combination of mathematics, witchcraft and jQuery, HowSecureIsMyPassword.net lets you know approximately how long it would take a vicious, evil computer to crack your PW and break into the virtual fortress that houses your e-dentity. For example, if your password were password, it would take a matter of seconds, but if your password were P@$$w0rd, it would take about three years.
The site says that no passwords you enter are saved, but if you're worried you can always just enter in random characters and words.

One password would take 2 hours, my other would talk 15 thousand years. Guess I need to switch which one I use for banking and which one I use for Facebook!

I don't know and don't want to take risk of creating a strong password by my own. I make use of aafter.com. Visit the site and ask for a stronger password by typing password: in the search box and pressing enter.
