'Joe Barton Would Like To Apologize' Turns a Congressman's Mistake Viral

When Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX) apologized to BP for the White House's efforts to get the oil company to pay for the Gulf Oil Spill, he started a firestorm of controversy. Mat Honan, the writer behind Barack Obama is Your New Bicycle, wondered what other absurd things Barton would apologize for next. Was he sorry to England because the US soccer team scored a goal against them?

Joe Barton Would Like to Apologize is Honan's extremely viral collection of fake Joe Barton apologies, for the most ridiculous things you can imagine. The thing is, they're not that much more ridiculous than Barton's actual words. Honan's site took off extremely quickly and even got a mention on The Rachel Maddow Show. God, for killing off his noble bacteria with the scourge of antibiotics.

Men, for diluting our strong, masculine authority by giving women the vote.

People stop yuor bickering. No one cares what the citizens think nor is any so called public servant listening to the citizens. The only people the government is listening to are illegals and muslims because the so called public servanta need their undivided votes to keep squandering the citizents tax money on their entitlements. The citizens do not count anymore. Citizens have no protection anymore from illegals and muslims. The government will prosecute the citizens for illegal doings but not illegasls or muslims even if they absolulty have no rights.CITIZENS HAVE BEEN SOLD OUT BY THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT.

You know, when I see your words in writing, it makes me think that maybe Barton has a point. Maybe Barton should apologize to the Brittish for the revolutionaries winning in 1776....maybe Barton should apologize to Hitler himself for our opposing him during WW2....maybe Barton should apologize to Saddam for pushing him out of Kuwate....but, most of all, he should apologize to his mother for coming out of her womb now, instead of the 19th century where he belongs.

Barton is an imbecile! He should be removed from his position, since he is an ass sucking weasel, who is working for Big Oil! And he's from Texas, where that other idiot Bush is from! Jerks of a feather, flock together.

Clearly the Republican party has the interests of big business first, with its citizenry somewhere else on the list. Democratic party is also slow to react to solving the problem instead of focusing on each other.

Barton is so unpatriotic he puts a scofflaw foreign company before American citizens that they have victimized. No surprise when you read how much money he's "shaken down" from corporate oil. The real hypocrisy is that had President Obama not pushed for the 20 billion in escrow, he'd have been the first to accuse him of being weak and ineffectual. They haven't had one good idea in this whole mess.
