Our friends across the pond always have to one-up the U.S., huh? We invent chili dogs and deep-fried Oreos; the bored and/or creative staff at The Guardian invent a program that shows, via changes in size of certain topics and keywords, a visual representation of what's being discussed on Twitter minute-by-minute and game-by-game. Those in the know like to call it "Dynamic Visualization." We like to call it "That cool new toy on The Guardian's website." Either way, you will be entertained.
